Thank you.

I have just returned from our final drop off before Christmas. I cannot thank you enough for all of your donations this year. You have made a huge difference to the lives of the women and children in these shelters and your support is amazing.

Huge thank you's to Clare Forde and Nathalie Smith from Clare Forde PR who not only allow us the free use of their office to collect all of our parcels - but have physically carried every single box/sack up and down the stairs whilst doing so. (We have received a LOT of parcels!)

Massive thanks to our regional organisers at and Beauty Bay - who take care of Wales and the North of England respectively. All on their own time and with no fanfare.

And a personal thank you to my husband and children (big and little) who have, on many an occasion, formed a conveyor belt of hands while we loaded and unloaded the donations this end. All without one word of complaint.

This is the busiest time of year for domestic violence shelters.

Whilst we wish you all a very Merry Christmas we are thinking of the families in these shelters, the staff who work tirelessly to support them and send them our love and hope for a peaceful Happy New Year for all.

  1. Hi,

This amazing cause was brought to my attention over Christmas (via Twitter) and I've had a big clearour with the results that I have lots of items to donate!

I just wanted to check whether you accept lightly-used lipsticks (I always use a lip brush to apply) and also what the opening hours are for your London base, as I work quite close by.

    Thanks in advance!

  2. hi, very inspiring! Have you found a place in Scotland yet for donations to be dropped off? How would i volunteer for distributing donations? I would be interested in this. Mant thanks Mrs P
